Meet Geraldine & Clinton {A Matric Dance}

Welcome back!

There is just something truly special about photographing special milestones in your clients' lives. A Matric Farewell is one of these! The matric farewell is a night to remember, one that has you saying goodbye to being a high school student and welcoming the nerving adult life where bigger decisions need to be made. There is so much excitement in the air, everyone is happy, optimistic and full of energy! The future is looking great and the world is but an oyster to the young couple!

In my years as a photographer, I've been extremely lucky to get to work with all kinds of amazing human beings. As you'd expect, every couple is different from the next. Some are all about the PDA, some are all about keeping it sweet and romantic, and some people...well, some people are just downright fun! matric dance 3 resizedjpg

The session took place at their home in Duynefontein as well as at their High School in Melkbos and at the beautiful Eensgezindt Function Venue in Durbanville. matric dance 4 resizedjpg

What kind of look were you going for? Tell us about your dress.
"Sparkling," says Geraldine. "My dress was amazing! Ocean blue with lots of diamonds on it." matric dance 5 resizedjpg

The entire time these two were cracking jokes and having a great time, and I was there to catch it all on camera. matric dance 8 resizedjpg

Tell us about your memorable moments - your favourite parts of the entire dance.
"My favourite part of the dance was when I could make lasting and most important memories with all my friends and close friends," Geraldine said. IMG_1974jpg

What are your plans for after high school?
"Going to do Au Pair work for 1 year and after that, I am going to go study."
